These images of the iconic Australian sport of surf rowing were made at Sydney's Northern Beaches before Covid.  They portray the strength and resilience that are helping us all through the pandemic. 
The  images below show examples of the main phases during surf rowing: Heading out through the breakers, straining to make good time beyond the breakers, and then, after rounding a buoy, timing the return to take advantage of the swell to surf back to shore. Click on images to enlarge.
